What We Believe In

The term Cowboy has come to define many things. In the case of Cowboy Christian Church, we use it to define a relaxed, non-traditional, "come as you are," atmosphere. A place where the worship of Jesus Christ, His teachings, and His love are the focus! If you just got off work- "come as you are". If you have to leave early- we're just glad you come at all!

•  We believe in God, the creator and ruler of the universe.

• We believe God exists as three persons in one: Father, Son and Spirit.

• We believe Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God.

• We believe Jesus lived a sinless life and taught us what humanity should look like.

• We believe Jesus offered himself on the cross as a perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people.

• We believe Jesus died and rose from the dead three days later –  conquering sin and death.

• We believe Jesus ascended to heaven and will return again to bring a new heaven and a new earth

• We believe in the Holy Spirit – the person of God actively redeeming the world.

• We believe the Bible is God’s Word and it is the ultimate source of truth.

• We believe salvation is God’s free gift to humanity and we must accept it.

• We believe that baptism by immersion is the public demonstration of our commitment to follow Christ.

• We believe every human will exist eternally with God through salvation or separated from God by sin.

• We believe that true disciples of Jesus are Christ-like people who go into the world to make disciples.
